"Hi! My name is teacher Iya. Teaching is not just my profession but also my passion. I've been working in this field for almost 3 years. We may not be of the same nationality, but if you really have the heart of imparting your knowledge to other people, it really feels great.
During my class I want my students to talk more and express their ideas more. If their are some lapses with your grammar and pronunciation I'd love checking it right away, if you allow me to. It is for you to discover the greatest achievement you can make, one of your great surprises, to find that you can do what you were afraid you could not do.

They corrected my pronunciation, which gave me many insights that I could not have gained by studying alone. Also, by talking to me about the Philippines and conversations outside of the course material, I felt motivated to want to speak more, even though I wanted to say things like this. He also gave me a detailed lecture on how to explain pictures, which made me want to live up to his expectations and step up little by little. Thank you very much.

Always smiling, yet calm, a really good teacher! I was substituting on short notice, but the process went smoothly; I kept my head on a swivel for 50 minutes and there was so much to learn that it flew by. He answered my questions accurately and concisely, and most importantly, he really gave me tasks that were a step above my own. (Make a speech about the afterlife with 2 minutes of preparation, anyone?) He then pointed out what was good and what could be improved. The teacher himself seemed to love Ted Talk and we talked about how to give a speech. It was a good opportunity for me to change my mind to study English more seriously.

Thank you for your lesson, today. I have tried a dictation for the first time in the lessons of Willies English. I'd like to keep to try dificult practices for me! And I'll try to watch English movies and musics in order to practice the hearing as following to advices by teacher Iya.
