2025/03/26: 娘は初めての英検コースの体験レッスンでしたが、先生の緊張をほぐす明るい元気な声と分からない時のヒントの与え方、正確した時の褒めてくれる口調や様子に自然とほぐれていく様子がわかりました。新しい単語を使った文をつくるという問題やどんなことが書いてあったかを説明させたり発言をたくさんさせる工夫が見られました。継続すればすごく力がつき、英検準一級の合格も果たせそうと手応えを感じました。
It was my daughter’s first trial lesson for the Eiken course, but I could see how she naturally relaxed thanks to the teacher’s cheerful, energetic voice—which helped ease her nerves—as well as the way the teacher offered hints when she was stuck and praised her with a warm tone and expression when she got something right. I noticed the teacher’s thoughtful approach, such as having her create sentences using new vocabulary and asking her to explain what was written, which encouraged her to speak up frequently. I feel confident that if she continues with this course, she’ll make significant progress and will likely be able to pass the Eiken Pre-1 exam.

She’s very kind—she often asks me, “Do you have any questions? ” Also, at the beginning of class or in the middle, she’ll ask me things like, “What did you do yesterday? ” or talk about herself, which makes me really happy and makes class a lot of fun.
