Evaさんのレッスンを3月から週2回受講しています。今年英語学習を4年振りにまた再開しました。
リスニング能力、スピーキング能力は格段にアップしていることを日々実感しています。具体的には、共通テストのリスニングは安定して8割を取れるようになりましたし、TEDや洋画の英語を聴き取れるようになりました。以前はできなかったことです。

会社で海外とやり取りをする部署に異動になり、TOEICの点数が昇格試験にも 影響するようになりました。しばらく他のオンラインスクールで受講していましたが、予約を取るのが大変だったこと、単に楽しく会話して終わりとなりがちなところに不満を感じ、担当制でカリキュラムがしっかりしているところを探していました。そんな時に WiLLies English「社会人コース」 の体験レッスンを受け、すぐに受講を決めました。
まず、他のオンラインスクールとは講師の熱意が全然違うと感じています。皆さん社会人経験があり、講師同士で勉強会もされているようで、授業の質が高いです。私は、海外の方と英語で交渉することもあるため、自分の意見を伝え、うまく折衝できるようになるのが目標です。担任の先生は、レッスンに英語記事や時事問題をサマライズして紹介し、自分の意見を言うトレーニングを取り入れるなど、教科書通りではない、目標に沿った指導 をしてくださっています。英語でプレゼンをする上での心構え、基本的な流れや言い回し、発音なども丁寧に教えてくださいました。
この２年で、TOEICスコアも200点ほど上がり、英語の苦手意識も減りました。先生に出会えていなければ、英語学習を継続できていなかったかもしれません。本当に感謝しています。

以前定額でレッスン受け放題のスクールに通っていて、『カランメソッド』を受けていたのですが、『数をこなすこと』が目的になってしまい、身に付いている、使いこなせているという実感がありませんでした。WiLLies Englishでは定評ある書籍を教材にして、自分で次のレッスンまでに宿題をやっておくことが 前提 のレッスンです。 その場限りで話すこととは一線を画した方法に共感し入会しました。50分間みっちり学べる上、教材が1冊終わると達成感があります。レッスンでは音読と英文法の読み込み、そして通勤中やお風呂の中でも宿題のシャドウイングや音読をひたすら行いました。音読は英語の上達に欠かせない練習法と思いますので、一度腰を据えてトライしてみる価値があります。

目的別×レベル別に教材を用意しています。市販の良著を厳選し、担任講師が皆さんに合った教材を推薦いたします。皆さんは一つの教材を50回繰返し音読したことはありますか？「使えるようになる」まで一つの教材を繰返し利用していきます。

担任講師やスケジュールの変更はできますか？
担任制をご利用の場合、スケジュール・担任講師の変更は、毎月１０回、マイページより可能です。
マイページの「レッスンスケジュールと担任」の「変更」ボタンをクリックし、ご希望のスケジュール、担任講師を選択ください。変更すると、現在予約してあるレッスンスケジュールが”全て”キャンセルされ、新しいスケジュールに変更されますので、そのタイミングについてはお気をつけください。 -
GCCとはどんなトレーニングですか？
GCC（Grammar, Composition and Conversation）トレーニングは、スピーキング力、英作文力などアウトプット力を高めるためのトレーニングです。講師が日本語の文章をチャットで示すので、それを瞬時に口頭英作文して頂きます。スピーキング、英作文など瞬時に言いたいことを言える/ 書けるための訓練です。
レッスンでは、宿題範囲のセンテンスを講師が出題していきます。それを生徒様が答えていくという形で進みます。ぜひ宿題のセンテンスを少なくとも毎日１０回は音読してみてください。暗記する必要はありません。 -
RLCとはどんなトレーニングですか？
RLC（Reading, Listening and Conversation）トレーニングは、リスニング力、リーディング力などインプット力を高めるためのトレーニングです。RLCでは音読・リピーティング・シャドーイングを行います。
レッスンでは、宿題にしていた文章を講師に続いて音読します（=リピーティング）。慣れてきたら教材を閉じて音読してみて下さい。日本語だと何も見なくてもリピーティングできますが、英語になった瞬間に簡単なセンテンスでも難しく感じます。ぜひ宿題の文章を少なくとも毎日１０回は音読してみてください。音読は英語学習の最も重要な練習になります。 -
講師にレッスンに関する要望を伝えたいのですがどうすればいいですか？
はい可能です。ぜひご要望を講師にお伝えください。特に担任制の場合は生徒様のご要望に沿ったレッスンにしていきます。レッスン時間をどのようにご利用いただいても構いません。例えば以下のようなレッスンをしている生徒様の多くいらっしゃいます。
・毎回単語小テストを行う
・GCCを割愛してRLCのみとする（その逆も）
・RLCではシャドーイングはせず、その分ディスカッションの時間を多めにする
・GCC/ RLCはせず、1min Speechなどスピーキングの時間を多めにする
・今日だけフリーで会話をする など
またレッスン3分前になるとZOOM点滅の上に「レッスンリクエスト」が点滅します。そちらからご要望をお伝えいただくことも可能です。事前にメモかなにかでご用意いただき、リクエストシートをご利用ください。 -
体験後、教材は何を選べば良いですか？
体験レッスンを通じて講師からおすすめの教材を推薦させて頂きます。推薦内容は体験レッスンのフィードバックメール、またマイページの「使用教材」で確認いただけます。なお、推薦教材以外のものを選択頂いても構いません。マイページの「教材一覧と変更」メニューよりご希望の教材をリクエスト下さい。なお体験後の教材は生徒様ご自身で準備頂く必要があります。Amazonなどでご購入頂けます。
